Desert Rose ‘Merlot’ has double flowers that are a rich, deep purple with red or pink highlights in the inner petals. It resembles the color of a fine wine. ‘Merlot’ blooms prolifically during the warm spring, summer and fall seasons. Grow in a well-draining potting mix and fertilize only during periods of active growth. Be careful not to overwater. This is a one-year-old grafted plant with a thickened caudex.
