‘Skaggs Bonanza’ Navel Orange Tree is a prolific fruiter of medium-to-large fruit with a sweet flavor that’s moderately juicy and has a thin skin when compared to other navel oranges. This early ripening variety is a small tree, usually only growing 10-12’ tall when planted in the ground or it may be maintained at a much smaller size when grown in a container. The fruit starts to ripen 2 weeks earlier than other navels, usually in November to January although ripening can extend until late spring. Fragrant white flowers add to its appeal. This is a grafted plant that blooms and fruits sooner.
